Posters are one of the most common and effective marketing tools available, as they are often front and center, and large! Common large poster sizes are 18x24", 24x36" (the maximum size for offset prints), and 27x41" (digital print, standard modern movie posters).

Mass-produced (offset press) posters can be printed on a variety of stocks, including 100# gloss text (the most common), 14pt C2S (for sturdiness and high gloss finish) and 100# gloss cover. Short-run posters, those printed digitally, are only available on 8mil high gloss photo paper or 9mil semi-gloss paper.
